MAC MILLER'S FIRST POSTHUMOUS TRACK "TIME" WITH FREE NATIONALS & KALI UCHIS HAS BEEN RELEASED!
Nine months after Mac Miller‘s sudden death, his first posthumous track has been released. "Time" has arrived with the help of Anderson .Paak’s R&B group, Free Nationals, which also features Kali Uchis.
The track debuts after some previously unheard Miller tracks were leaked over the past month. Miller contributes one verse to “Time,” which is a track exploring the need for growth in a relationship.
He poignantly raps, “If you can make it with me, you can make it on your own/So quit the bullshit and playing on my phone/We just need some time/Keep watching, let it all unwind/ You get yours, of course, I get mine/And in the end, everything will be fine, that’s by design.”
According to reports, Miller recorded the track in May of 2018. About four months later, Miller passed away at the age of 26. The cause of death was an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.
