Major Lazer—Diplo, DJ Walshy Fire and Ape Drums are back with a new Latin single titled “Que Calor”, which means “What Heat”, “Too Hot” and “So Hot”.
“There's so much energy in Latin music right now and we love helping bring it back home,” Major Lazer tells in an interview.
The international electronic group is joined by Colombian reggaeton star, J Balvin, and Dominican rapper, El Alfa.
“Balvin and El Alfa both are two of the most exciting artists currently working with us, and artists that we have longstanding relationships with. Now just felt like the perfect time to all jump on a track together and make it blow.”
“We've collaborated with Latin artists from the very beginning of Major Lazer -- I think many Americans forget how much of the Caribbean is Spanish-speaking, and that's a huge part of our influences.” The group added.
“Que Calor” is the latest single from Music Is the Weapon.
