The band have debuted the fourth track released so far from their upcoming fourth album, Notes on a Conditional Form, which is slated for release on April 24th. 'Me & You Together Song' is a pure bop about making love and longing a point of contention rather than celebration. Little more than the concept of being young and in love, but doesn’t necessary always work out. Matty offers up glimpses into the stages of them falling in love and his fantasies of their future. “I had a dream where we had kids/You would cook, I’d do the nappies,” he sings on the second verse. “We went to Winter Wonderland/It was shit but we were happy.” When teasing their new single ‘Me and You Together Song’, Matty embraced the fact that they’re heading back to the very start. Replying to a comment on the post he said ‘Me and You Together Song’ is like “a Drive Like I Do song (kind of) [sic]” and that their “current vibe is very DLID”. DILD (Drive Like I Do) was one of the band’s original names, before they settled on The 1975. In recent years Healy’s elaborated on the band’s beginnings, saying in a 2017 tweet, he said that “The 1975 and Drive Like I Do are separate entities” but hinting that the early days are basically an alter-ego. He’s even teased a separate album under that moniker.Listen to the song below.'Notes on a Conditional Form', originally slated for a 21st February release, will now be out on 24th April.  The band went on to confirm that there'll be further new songs in February, March and right before the album in April. The 1975 previously released three other tracks off the 22-track LP, including the opening, self-titled instrumental, which features a monologue from climate change activist Greta Thunberg, “Frail State of Mind,” and “People.”

Featuring Barker, Escape The Fate guitarist Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft and more, each post teased “the untitled pop punk album.”  He previously confirmed with Zane Lowe of Beats 1 in December that the album will have a stacked array of collaborations with plans to drop it in the first quarter of 2020.No release date has been announced for MGK’s fifth studio album, but he has given fans a preview of the sound they can expect to hear on the project by dropping a single titled “why are you here” showcasing his genre shift.
